RASC: Sources from Sayeed Khil district of Parwan province report that Qari Zariali, the governor of the Taliban group in this district, made excuses for former soldiers or their relatives beat them up and imprisoned them.
The sources said, this governor is forcing them to flee from the region and is making the ground to buy their agricultural land at a low price. This commander is one of the ugly and criminal faces of Taliban who uses any kind of cruelty and crime against the people under the pretext of the resistance front.
Aminullah, one of the local residents, says that Qari Zariali was one of the destitute and relatively poor people in the previous government, and the local people helped him with food and cash from time to time to deal with his economic problems, but he also started selling them. He had built his personal property and sold his agricultural land.
Now that he is the governor of Sayeed Khil, he travels around with several types of armored vehicles and has become one of the richest people in this area, he repurchased the lands that he had sold by force and at a low price, and he is trying to buy former soldiers as well.
Meanwhile, one of Qari Zariali’s neighbors says that on the day of the fall of Parwan Province, Mr. Zariali along with several other Mullahs and Qaris stole the vehicles, tools, weapons and equipment of the previous government’s offices and destroyed the houses of the previous governors. He looted and now uses all kinds of cruelty and crime to get money on the one hand and to destroy his opponents on the other hand.
It is worth mentioning that Qari Zariali was a native of Pashtun descent in Sayeed Khil district of Parwan province, he studied in religious schools of Pakistan and during the previous government, and he organized and executed guerrilla attacks, planting sticky mines and bombs above military, command centers.
On the side of it, he used to lay ambushes on the routes of previous soldiers and make them martyrs, and since the arrival of the Taliban group, he has been performing his duties as the governor of Sayeed Khil district.
