RASC: On the occasion of the World Population Day, Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations, says that investing in women provides a basis for improving countries and societies.

Today, Tuesday, July 11, coincides with the World Population Day, and Guterres has warned all classes about the harm caused by gender discrimination on his Twitter page.

He added: “On World Population Day and every other day, let’s be with the women and girls who are fighting for their rights.”

At the same time, the Secretary General of the United Nations raises the importance of the role of women in the promotion and development of countries, as Afghanistani women under the control of the Taliban group are deprived of their most basic rights, including education and work.

It should be mentioned that before this human rights and women’s organizations in Afghanistan said that the statements of international organizations about women are not enough.

These women protested and marched many times to get their rights, they asked the countries of the world not to remain silent in front of the neglect of this half of the population of Afghanistan.

It should be noted that the new statistics of the human population in the world have not been announced, but the information published in 2022 shows that the world population is more than eight billion people.

Some international institutions have also declared the population of Afghanistan to be nearly 40 million.
