RASC: According to local sources in Takhar province, Taliban fighters have arrested six civilians, including two women, in Warsaj district of this province.

Sources say that on Sunday night, July 9, the intelligence forces of the Taliban group entered the house of Wakil Jabar, the former representative of the people of Takhar in the Afghanistan Parliament, and arrested their nephew, niece, two farmers and their wives and took them to an unknown place.

According to the sources, the Taliban released the two farmers and their wives after torture and forced confession to reveal the location of the weapons.

But so far, there is no information about the fate of the nephew and niece of this former representative of Takhar people in the parliament.

The Taliban group has not yet said anything about it.

It has been said that the Taliban group has increased the arrest of civilians and house-to-house efforts in Takhar in recent days.

Wersaj district, adjacent to Panjshir, has a special importance for the Taliban group.
