RASC: Local sources in Badakhshan province say that the Taliban group has asked domestic tourists from Badakhshan and women not to come for tourism in this province without wearing a burqa.

Sources on Saturday, July 8, say that the Department of Amr Bil Maruf of the Taliban group has told domestic female tourists not to come to entertainment places and tourist attractions in Shuhada district of this province without wearing a Hijab (Burqa).

Sources add that the Taliban group has severely beaten three women and two men in Gharspan and Yasich valleys of Shuhada district.

According to the sources, the Taliban group insulted and humiliated dozens of other families ransacked their cars and physically assaulted them.

According to sources, many domestic tourists left this district due to the fear of the Taliban group, and domestic tourists are now going to Warduj and Yamgan district.

According to the sources, a well-known Taliban leader even said that women wearing masks could not enter tourist sites in Shuhada.

Shahada district is located in the eastern part of Faizabad city, the center of Badakhshan province, and with its beautiful valleys, clear weather and beautiful natural scenery, it has attracted the attention of many domestic tourists.

Currently, 300 to 400 domestic tourists visit this district daily.

It should be mentioned that the Taliban group has already imposed restrictions against women in different parts of the country.
