Sources informed the media on Monday, February 19th, that the incident occurred last night due to heavy snowfall in the “Nakra” valley of the Nurgaram district in this province.
Sources indicate that as a consequence of this event, at least 25 residential homes have been demolished. According to their accounts, the casualty count from the landslide in the Nurgaram district is not final, and it is possible that the numbers may increase. Taliban officials have confirmed the occurrence of this natural event, adding that rescue teams from their group have been dispatched to aid in the rescue efforts.
