RASC: Following the publication of a report by Amnesty International regarding the war crimes of the Taliban group in Panjshir, Nasir Ahmad Andisha, the representative of Afghanistan in Geneva, has announced the extensive list of allegations of war crimes and violations of international humanitarian law in Afghanistan under the rule of the Taliban group.

He made these remarks while speaking at a meeting; he says that there are credible reports of targeted killings and field executions of former security forces and civilians in every corner of Afghanistan, from Panjshir and Baghlan to Kandahar, Nangarhar, Sarpol, Daikundi Ghor and Badakhshan. It has been published.

Andisheh added: “The list of alleged war crimes and violations of international humanitarian law is extensive. “Amnesty International announced the heinous war crimes of the Taliban group in Panjshir.”

He says that a lot of evidence of illegal executions, torture, arbitrary arrests and brutal behavior of the Taliban forces against civilians has been prepared and published.

According to Andisha, in these “crimes” most of the people related to the “Resistance Front” have been targeted.

It should be mentioned that the headquarters of most of the activities of “Resistance Front” is in Panjshir province, and the Taliban group in this province has arrested and tortured people on charges of being associated with this front.

Earlier, Amnesty International published a report saying that the Taliban group in Panjshir “committed a war crime” by punishing civilians and extrajudicial executions of prisoners of war.

Agnes Kalamar, Secretary General of Amnesty International, has also said that the list of war crimes and other violations of international humanitarian rights by the Taliban group in Panjshir is extensive.

This is despite the fact that the Taliban group has regained control over the country despite the announcement of a general amnesty; this group has arrested, tortured and in some cases killed former soldiers.
