RASC: While the Taliban group is accused of arresting, torturing, and possibly killing military and civilian employees of the previous government, the group’s deputy prime minister said that the persecution of former government employees is “completely false.”
The Twitter page of the ARG under the management of the Taliban group announced on Sunday, July 2, the meeting of Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Acting Prime Minister of this group, with a number of generals, army corps commanders, officers, chiefs and military officials of the previous government.
During this meeting, Abdul Kabir said: “Unfortunately, the media and biased people are spreading propaganda as if the employees of the previous administration are being harassed, which is completely false.”
According to him, due to the general amnesty by Mullah Hebatullah, the leader of the Taliban group, no one has the right to harass another person.
He has claimed that a large number of civil and military officials of the previous government have returned to the country due to the efforts of the Contact Commission and they continue to live without any problems.
Despite the announcement of a general amnesty by the Taliban group, this group keeps arresting, torturing and even killing military and civilian employees of the previous government, international institutions and other civilians under various pretexts.
Some time ago, sources in Kabul reported that the Taliban group asked an employee of the German Institute (GIZ) to Kabul by taking his son hostage and killed him.
