RASC: According to the local officials of the Taliban group in Badakhshan, the police of this group killed “two armed robbers” on the Faiz Abad-Keshm highway during a search.

Muazuddin Ahmadi, the head of information and culture of the Taliban group in  Badakhshan, says that five armed robbers who wanted to loot the property of travelers, last night, Sunday, July 2, in Ashkashan area, from Argo district, were confronted by Taliban police forces.

Ahmadi says that the forces of the Taliban killed two people and the other three thieves managed to escape.

He did not provide details about how these two people were killed.

The head of information and culture of the Taliban group in Badakhshan said that two Kalashnikov type of weapon were also found from the dead people.

Independent sources have not yet said anything about this incident.

The Taliban group has already killed people accused of theft and in some cases displayed their bodies in public, which has also brought criticism.

While the Taliban group, after coming to power in the country, has always insisted on providing security, but it should be remembered that after the Taliban group took control of the country, with the worsening poverty and unemployment of many citizens, they started stealing the property of other citizens.

It should be noted that during the past months, complaints from the residents of the city regarding armed robbers were also published.
