RASC: Following the criticism of the receipt of a package of 40 million dollars, a reliable source in the Central Bank of Afghanistan under the administration of the Taliban group said on Saturday, July 1, that Kabul is witnessing the receipt of packages of 40 million dollars of humanitarian aid, but the Taliban group is not mediating the news. They refuse it.
The latest report of the Central Bank of Afghanistan, under the administration of the Taliban group, on receiving humanitarian aid packages worth 40 million dollars, was made public on Sunday, May 14.
A reliable source in the Central Bank of Afghanistan under the administration of the Taliban group said on Saturday, July 1, that the process of sending aid to Kabul is still ongoing, but the Taliban group has decided not to share the news of receiving these aids with the media.
This source added that there has been no change in the process of receiving money from foreign organizations and aid organizations in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, during the past year and a half, the Central Bank of Afghanistan under the administration of the Taliban has been continuously reporting on the arrival of 40 million dollars in humanitarian aid from the international community to Kabul.
Broadcasting these reports in the media led to widespread criticism among the Afghanistani people and political forces opposed to the Taliban.
The United Nations Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) previously said that the publication of such reports by the Central Bank of Afghanistan under the administration of the Taliban is “useless and misleading”.
UNAMA said that the cash aid transferred to Afghanistan by the United Nations is kept in the accounts of this organization in a private bank and is used for humanitarian aid to millions of Afghanistnais in need.
