RASC: By publishing an audio tape attributed to Hebatullah Akhundzadeh, the Taliban group claimed his presence and speech at the Eid al-Adha prayer in Kandahar province.
This audio tape was published on Twitter by Hedayatullah Hedayat, the deputy head of Afghanistan’s National Radio and Television, which is currently under the administration of the Taliban group, on Wednesday, June 28.
Hebatullah Akhundzadeh said in this audio tape that the “absolute majority” of Afghanistani people follow Hanafi jurisprudence and the country’s rulings and laws should be compiled based on this jurisprudence.
He said that work on the compatibility of Afghanistani laws with Islamic Sharia and Hanafi jurisprudence is going on in three parts.

Akhundzadeh stated in a part of this audio tape that “Today, our Muslim brothers enjoy absolute freedom and there is no obstacle or problem to implement the real Islamic rulings in front of us.”
He says that the goal of this group’s 20-year war was to implement the Islamic system and Islamic rules.
The leader of the Taliban group said that all the scholars who know about Sharia and religion are at the head of this group and they bring Islam to Muslims.
He claimed that Afghanistan currently has a “complete Islamic system” and security, and no “disorder and disobedience” can be seen anywhere in the country.
It should be mentioned that since the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan, they have established strict laws and in various cases have punished the accused in public.
This group has carried out two executions in public in Farah and Laghman provinces.
While it has been almost two years since the Taliban regained control of the country, no pictures or video tapes of the leader of this group have been published yet.
