RASC News Agency: Local sources from Herat province report that Taliban intelligence forces have recently detained four employees of the provincial hospital in the region. Sources informed the media on Sunday, Mar 24, that last Thursday, at least four employees of the provincial hospital in Herat were detained by Taliban intelligence forces.

According to sources, those detained by the Taliban include the chief physician of the hospital, one individual from the laboratory department, a physician, and one individual from the administrative department. The sources added that further details about the fate of those detained by Taliban intelligence forces are not yet available.

It remains unclear why Taliban intelligence forces have detained these individuals. The Taliban in Herat have not commented on this matter. The detention of citizens by the Taliban on various pretexts is not a new issue, and this group has consistently detained, imprisoned, tortured, and even killed citizens of the country on various pretexts in the past.
