RASC: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China has announced that Beijing expects the Taliban in order to secure the interests of the Afghanistan people and accept the wishes of the international community should take measures that are more effective.

Mao Ning, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said in a press conference that the Taliban group should take steps that are more valuable in different sectors than the economic sector, eradicating corruption, and prohibiting the production of narcotics.

However, she did not mention the fact that despite these important steps, Afghanistan is facing many challenges, and the international community has expressed concern about the ways of the Taliban group to reach a solution to solve these challenges.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry added that security has now been secured in Afghanistan.

It should be mentioned that China is one of the countries that has diplomatic and economic relations with Kabul, and in the first months of the group’s return to power, it handed over the Afghanistan embassy to a reliable diplomat of this group.

It should be noted that China has signed agreements with Afghanistan for the extraction of mines before.

In addition, these expectations of China are expressed while the United Nations announced yesterday that Afghanistan is one of the largest producers of Methamphetamine-type drugs in the region.
