RASC: Following the imposition of restrictions on the education of girls by the Taliban group, local sources in Ghazni province say that the Taliban group has closed the gates of educational centers in this province to girls.

On Wednesday, June 21, the sources said that the Department of Amr Bil Maruf and the Department of Education of the Taliban in Ghazni have ordered all educational centers, including foreign language education centers in this province, that girls will not have the right to enter educational centers.

According to the sources, the administration of the Taliban has summoned a number of officials of educational centers in this province and warned them that if they disobey this order, they will be severely punished.

According to the information, the Taliban group had previously closed girls’ education centers in Jaghori district of this province to girls.

The administrations of the Taliban group in Ghazni province have not yet officially confirmed or denied this issue.

It should be mentioned that in addition to other restrictions of the Taliban group on women and girls, after regaining control of the country, this group has prohibited girls above the sixth grade from going to school and has blocked the gates of universities to them.

It should be noted that these actions of the Taliban group against Afghanistani women have repeatedly faced strong reactions from the international community and the countries of the world, but so far, this group has not shown any change in this regard.
