RASC: Sources in Daikundi report the arrest of a former woman police officer along with her two sisters by the Taliban group in this province.

Sources say that this woman’s name is Sabro Rezai, who was the head of police recruitment in the women’s department of the Daikundi security command in the previous government.

A source close to Ms. Rezaei said that she and her two sisters have been in Taliban custody for five days and nights.

The source says that the reason for Mrs. Rezai’s arrest was “insults and Facebook activities” against the Taliban group during her mission in the previous government.

The source has added that the efforts of ethnic elders and religious scholars to free this woman and her sisters have been fruitless.

Another source has announced the beginning of the arrest and dismissal of former employees from government offices in Daikundi.

According to this source, the Taliban group in the last few days, Rahmatullah Ebrahimi, the former director of traffic in Daikundi has also been arrested.

A security source, who did not want to be named, said that a few days ago, the Taliban Intelligence Directorate asked the security command of this group for the list of soldiers of the previous government.

Despite the general amnesty of the Taliban for former soldiers, these soldiers are still detained.

Based on the information, in nearly a month, the Taliban have arrested at least eight former soldiers who are residents of Panjshir province, from this province or from Kabul.
