RASC: According to reliable sources, a man from Roy Doab district in Samangan province was arrested and shot after trying to complain to Haqqani about the harassment of the commanders of the Taliban group.
This 32-year-old man’s name is Jamaluddin and he is a resident of Roy Doab district of Samangan.
Confirming this news, two sources say that Jamaluddin was a farmer and did not have any military or political activities in the past, by Qari Muawiyah, a Taliban commander in the Roy Doab, and on the orders of the intelligence department of that group, at around 6:00 am. On Tuesday, June 13, in Roy Doab was shot.
Two sources say that early last week, Jamaluddin tried to participate in the meeting that Haqqani held to meet the people of Samangan and complained about the harassment of the commanders of this group.
According to these two sources, before entering the meeting, Jamaluddin was arrested by the intelligence of the Taliban group and after being tortured, he was shot dead with eight bullets.
These two sources say that Jamaluddin was continuously harassed for hiding weapons and military equipment and a part of his house was excavated.
In a report of the Taliban group’s police command in Roy Doab district, which was sent to the Ministry of Interior of this group and received by the Farsi Independent, in this report, the killing of Jamaluddin by Taliban members was confirmed and the perpetrators of the murder were named “Muawiya friends”. The name has been mentioned, while informed sources say that Qari himself shot Jamaluddin.
It should be mentioned that in 21 months of taking control of Afghanistan, the Taliban group has engaged in large-scale extra-legal killings, field executions, disappearances, and arresting and torturing civilians.
Amnesty International’s investigative report published on June 8 stated that the Taliban in Panjshir have killed, executed, and tortured civilians indiscriminately, and this action is an example of a war crime.
