Self- Destruction of a Teenage Girl in Jawzjan

RASC: According to the security officials of the Taliban group, a 17-year-old girl committed suicide in Qarqin district of Jawzjan province.

The Taliban police in Jawzjan say that this girl’s name was Sabza Gul and she was a resident of “Shor Tapa” village in this district.

It is said that this girl hanged herself in her house yesterday (Tuesday, June 13) and ended her life.

So far, the motive of Sabza Gul’s suicide is not known and the investigation is ongoing.


A source from Shor Tapa village, Qarqin district states that family violence is the cause of this suicide.

It should be mentioned that these days, widespread cases of suicide and murder are reported from some different provinces of the country.

Family violence, mental illness, and mental pressure caused by poverty and unemployment are among the reasons for this situation.
