RASC: Local officials in Ghor province confirm that on Saturday, June 10, rain and flooding in several villages of “Dolina and Shahrak” districts of this province caused huge financial losses to the people of these areas.

Mawlawi Hamas Ghori, the spokesperson of Ghor governor, says that due to the heavy rain and flooding in the villages of Tarbulaq, Kata Cheshma and Masjidnagar in Shahrak and Dolina districts, huge financial losses have been caused to the people of these areas.

He adds that as a result of this incident, the properties, shops, agricultural lands, trees and bridges were destroyed or seriously damaged.

The victims of this incident ask the authorities to take care of their situation as soon as possible.

So far, nothing has been said about the human casualties of this incident.

This is despite the fact that not long ago, several districts of Ghor province witnessed severe floods due to rain, which caused huge financial losses and lives.
