RASC: Pakistani medias have reported that Sanaullah Ghafari, the leader of the Khorasan branch of ISIS, was killed in Kunar province.

The news of the death of Sanaullah Ghafari, known as Shahab Al Muhajer, is widely spread in the Pakistani media without mentioning the source.

Pakistani media reported that the leader of the Khorasan branch of ISIS was killed in Kunar province of Afghanistan, without providing details, according to the narration of the country’s officials.

The Taliban spokesperson has not yet confirmed this claim by the Pakistani authorities.

Zabiullah Mujahid says that the local authorities of this group are following up on the matter.

Meanwhile, sources say that the Taliban recently conducted an operation against ISIS in Kunar, as a result of which 14 ISIS fighters were killed.

According to the information of these sources, the person who was recently killed in a Taliban attack in Kunar province is Abdullah al-Muhajir.

These sources said that Abdullah al-Muhajir, who was killed in this operation, was an ISIS commander.

The United Nations and the European Union have designated Sanaullah Ghafari as a “global terrorist”, and the US State Department has set a $10 million reward for information that leads to the arrest or identification of the whereabouts of Shahab al-Muhajer, the leader of the ISIS group in Khorasan.
