This incident happened this morning (Thursday, June 8) in the “Pol e Sangi” area of Qalat city.

Nazir Ahmad Harifal, the chief physician of civilian Hospital in Zabul, said that a “580” type passenger car belonging to Ahmad Shah Abdali Passenger Company collided with a “Mazda” car.

According to Harifal, nine people, including men and women, died and 31 others were injured in this incident.

He added that the injured are being treated at civilians Hospital. However, he did not say anything about their condition.

The local officials of the Taliban in Zabul have not said anything about the cause of this incident.

This is the second fatal traffic accident in the country in the last 24 hours.
