Sohail Shahin: We Do Not Agree with the International Community About the Education of Girls

 RASC: The head of the political office of the Taliban in Qatar says that this group does not agree with the world about the education and work of girls and women.

 Sohail Shaheen said that the Taliban wants to solve the issue of women’s education “in the light of Islamic principles”, but the conditions of the international community are not acceptable for this group.

This Taliban official said in an interview with the Afghanistani National Television controlled by the group that in their meetings with foreigners, it can be seen that the international community is “slowly accepting the realities of Afghanistan.”

These statements are made while the Taliban had previously said that they would provide education for girls above the sixth grade by laying out a specific plan, however, after more than 600 days have passed since the gates of the school were closed to girls, such an action It has not been done.

Earlier, Reuter’s news agency reported that Qatari Prime Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Sani met with Taliban leader Hebatullah Akhundzada and discussed the education of girls and women’s work during his visit to Kandahar.
