RASC: The Indian Army, on Thursday morning, June 1, announced the arrest of three rebels from the Indian Jammu and Kashmir region with a bomb made from an “Afghanistani boiler”.
Indian officials say that the boiler filled with 10 kilos of explosives and the rebels wanted to use it to attack the Indian army convoy in the Golpur Bridge area.
Indian officials added that in addition to the bomb, the police also recovered a rifle, 2 pistols and 70 bullets, 6 Chinese grenades and 20 packets of drugs from the rebels.
Officials in India have said that all three insurgents are residents of Karmara Pulas village, which is located near the borderline with Pakistan.
They say that the insurgents probably got the shipment of weapons and drugs from across the border.
According to Indian officials, further investigations have been initiated in this regard.
It should be noted that Kashmir is divided into two parts, Indian and Pakistani, and in the part occupied by India, Muslim fighters supported by Pakistan fight for independence against the Indian army.
