Sultan Barakat: Taliban Group is Unable to Save Afghanistan from Humanitarian Crisis without International Aid

RASC: One of the famous figures close to the Taliban group, Sultan Barkat, in Qatar on Tuesday asked the Taliban group to change their behavior and said that they should not make the world their enemy with this action.

He says, this group is unable to save Afghanistan from the great humanitarian crisis without the help of the world.

Barakat said that the world should not miss the “golden opportunity” of appointing Mawlawi Kabir.

Sultan Barakat refers to the Taliban group’s emphasis on the continuation of the ban on women’s education and work in Afghanistan, which has led to severe criticism from countries around the world.

The Taliban group expressed the request of countries to change these prohibitions as interference in “internal affairs” and they denied it.

Sultan Barakat asked the Taliban group to change their “rigid views” and prepare to interact with the world, because according to him, Afghanistan is “on the threshold of the biggest humanitarian crisis”.

Critics say that this center is a lobby of the Taliban group to persuade Western countries to interact with this group.
