RASC: According to local sources in Badakhshan province, two workers of a gold mine in this province have died.

Sources say that these workers died on Sunday evening, May 21, when they were working in a gold mine in Zarandab village of Raghistan district.

According to sources, the mine collapsed on these workers.

Sources add that another worker of this mine was also injured.

This is despite the fact that not long ago a mine collapsed in Yawan district of this province and two gold mine workers died.

Unstandardised extraction of mines in different parts of the country has taken the lives of citizens and gold mine workers in Badakhshan province as well.
