An Afghanistani Athlete Climbed the Highest Peak in the World

 RASC: Samiuddin Siddiqi is the first Afghanistani mountaineer to conquer Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world.

Sediqi wrote on his Facebook page that he achieved this success after months of training.

Samiuddin Siddiqi stated that after five days of breath-taking climbing, he stepped on the Everest peak in the morning of May 17 this year. He added that conquering Everest was his dream.

The height of this peak reaches more than 8848 meters. Before, no mountaineer had succeeded in conquering this peak.

Samiuddin Siddiqi has been climbing since 10 years and is the founder of “Afghan Peaks” organization. This institution works in the field of promoting mountain sports and skiing in the mountains of Afghanistan.
