Two Taliban Pilots were Killed after a Helicopter Crashed in Samangan Province

RASC: Local sources in Samangan Province say that a military helicopter belonging to the Taliban has crashed in this province.

Reliable local sources say that this helicopter crashed on Sunday, May 21, in the area of ​​Khalm district, which was added by the Taliban to the administrative units of Samangan province.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of the Taliban group has also confirmed the fall of a military helicopter of this group in Samangan province.

In a message published on the Twitter page of the Ministry of Defense of the Taliban group, it is stated: “Around 9:00 this morning, an MD-530 aircraft wing of the country’s air force was flying from the Mazar-e-Sharif airport to Samangan province for the purpose of a mission. “It fell down after hitting the electricity line base in Sighanchi area of ​​Khalm district, Samangan province.”

The Ministry of Defense of the Taliban group has confirmed the death of two pilots in this air crash.

This is the first military helicopter of the Taliban to crash in the country since the beginning of this year.

Last year, a helicopter belonging to the Taliban group crashed in the campus of the military university in Kabul province during a training flight.
