RASC News Agency: Rustam Emomali, President of the Tajik Parliament, recently stated that Afghanistan, under Taliban rule, has once again become a center for terrorism. The Tajik President’s son made this statement on Monday, June 3, at a meeting of parliamentary leaders from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

He further asserted that religious schools in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan are training “suicide jihadists.” According to Rustam Emomali, over a thousand religious schools have been established in Afghanistan, with most located in border provinces. The President of the Tajik Parliament added that the situation in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan is complex, noting a lack of any genuine progress in the country.

Rustam Emomali also warned that the ongoing situation in Afghanistan poses severe destructive consequences for Central Asian countries. Previously, there have been numerous statements and concerns regarding terrorist threats and the presence of terrorist groups in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.
