RASC: Local sources in Parwan province say that the Taliban group has changed the intersection of Bagram Airport in to their suicide fighter of this group.

A reliable local source says that this intersection changed on Thursday, 18 May, in the name of Qari Naib, a suicide fighter of the Taliban group.

The Taliban group has written on the plaque installed at the intersection of Bagram Airport: “Today’s freedom is the product of the blood of yesterday’s martyrs.”

This intersection is located in front of the first gate of Bagram Airport.

Qari Naib was one of the suicide fighters of the Taliban group who succeeded in a suicide attack inside Bagram Airport on 1395(Afghanistan Calendar).

According to reports, at least 4 American soldiers were killed and nearly 15 others were injured in that attack.

Changing the name of intersections and famous places by the Taliban group in to the fighters of this group is not unprecedented.

During this week, the Taliban group also changed three famous intersections of Zabul province in the name of fighters attributed to this group.
