Trump Appoints Official to Oversee Retrieval of U.S. Military Equipment from the Taliban

RASC News Agency: Former U.S. President Donald Trump has tasked Doug with devising a strategy to reclaim American military equipment and ammunition that fell into the hands of the Taliban. Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Trump publicly appointed an official to lead the effort in retrieving these assets. Addressing Doug directly, he said, “You must get this done.” Expressing confidence in his ability, Trump added, “Doug can do it he’s an entrepreneur.” While media outlets have yet to confirm Doug’s identity, speculation suggests that Trump was referring to Doug Manchester, a well-known businessman and a Republican Party donor.

During his speech, Trump voiced his frustration over the Taliban’s possession of advanced U.S. military hardware, condemning the sight of Taliban forces marching with American-made weaponry. He stated, “We send Afghanistan between $2 billion and $2.5 billion in aid every year while our own country is in dire need of support.” Trump further asserted, “If we are going to continue sending this much money, the Taliban must return the U.S. military equipment left behind. Right now, they are selling it. If they expect financial aid, they should at least return our hardware. They have tanks, armored vehicles, weapons, and even night vision goggles brand new, straight out of the box, and in better condition than what we currently have. It’s unbelievable.”

Reiterating the urgency of the situation, Trump instructed Doug to expedite the development of a comprehensive strategy to recover U.S. military assets from the Taliban.
