RASC News Agency: Local sources have informed “RASC News” that an 18-year-old youth named Haseebullah was shot and killed by a Taliban member in the city of Taloqan on Sunday evening. The incident reportedly stemmed from a verbal altercation between Haseebullah and a guard of the Taliban’s Chief of Security in Takhar. A video circulating online shows the Taliban member threatening the young man, stating, “I can kill anyone, even the innocent if you wish, I’ll prove it.” Moments later, the Taliban guard points his weapon at Haseebullah and fatally shoots him.
The video further reveals that the shooting took place in broad daylight, inside a public shop, as onlookers witnessed the tragic event. According to local sources, Haseebullah was a harmless individual, working as a janitor for a mere salary of 4,000 kabuli rupees. So far, the Taliban authorities have not issued any official statement regarding the murder of the young Tajik man.
This is not an isolated incident. Over the past three years, the Taliban have demonstrated a shocking disregard for human life, reportedly killing thousands of Afghanistani youth with impunity. Such incidents underscore the group’s arrogance and extreme sense of superiority, which sometimes leads them to transgress beyond even the boundaries of Islam and its teachings. It has been reported multiple times that Taliban members have placed bets on killing innocent civilians, which they then carry out without hesitation.
This ruthless and unchecked violence continues to fuel fear and resentment among the population, particularly as Taliban members act with impunity, further isolating the regime on the world stage.
