RASC News Agency: The Freedom Front of Afghanistan has announced that its forces killed three members of the Taliban and injured two others during an attack on a Taliban outpost in Kabul. In a statement, the Freedom Front reported that the assault occurred on the evening of Thursday, September 26, targeting a Taliban position in the Sayed Jamaluddin Afghanistan neighborhood of the twelfth district of Kabul.
The group did not disclose any potential casualties among its own forces during the attack. Furthermore, Taliban security officials have yet to comment on this incident. The Freedom Front of Afghanistan has previously reported multiple attacks against the Taliban in Kabul. Since the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, the Freedom Front has declared its presence and conducted dozens of operations against Taliban forces. Alongside the Resistance Front, it constitutes two active military factions opposing the Taliban. A week ago, the Resistance Front reported that it had conducted nearly two hundred attacks against the Taliban in the past three years. These groups have resorted to military confrontation with the Taliban, primarily employing guerrilla tactics.
Over the past three years, these factions have been unable to seize control of any territory. However, officials from these groups assert that their objective is not to capture specific areas or districts but rather to engage the Taliban in a large-scale guerrilla war. These factions have launched numerous assaults against Taliban members in various locations, resulting in multiple fatalities.
Since the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, oppression and injustice have intensified. Reports indicate that during the three years of Taliban rule, hundreds of human rights violations, acts of discrimination, and killings have been documented by human rights organizations. The group has arbitrarily committed crimes, including mysterious murders and various forms of detention.
