RASC News Agency: Local sources from Kabul report that the Taliban, continuing their violent behavior, have recently arrested and detained a resident of Panjshir province along with his son in the city. Sources informed the media on Friday, July 20, that these two individuals were beaten by the Taliban in the Khair Khana third district four days ago, before being taken to an unknown location.

According to the sources, the detained individuals are named Ahmad Shah and Enayatullah, and they are originally from the first district of Panjshir province. The sources add that these individuals are civilians with no ties to any group. It was noted that Ahmad Shah is ill and had recently been discharged from the hospital. According to the sources, the Taliban arrested this father and son solely because they are from Panjshir. However, local Taliban officials in Kabul have not commented on this incident.

Since regaining control, the Taliban have consistently arrested, imprisoned, and even killed residents of Panjshir, Parwan, Kapisa, and many other provinces under various pretexts. In the latest instance of violent and discriminatory behavior, the Taliban arrested General Abdul Waqil, the former prison director of Panjshir province, five days ago.

Since their takeover, the Taliban have extensively violated the rights of various ethnic groups and minorities without being held accountable to any institution or individual.
