RASC News Agency: The organization “Afghanistan Security Watch” reported in its monthly assessment that 63 individuals were killed and 52 others injured in security incidents across the country in June. The organization highlighted that these incidents occurred within a single month.

Previously, the Taliban consistently claimed that they had ensured security throughout Afghanistan and that no individual or group could disrupt this stability. However, the Afghanistan Security Watch report detailed that 33 security incidents took place within the past month alone. According to the organization’s findings, these incidents included attacks by the National Resistance Front, the Freedom Front, and other groups.

The report indicated that in June, the National Resistance Front carried out 21 attacks, the Freedom Front conducted eight attacks, and four incidents were attributed to unknown groups. The report also mentioned that ISIS did not claim responsibility for any attacks during the past month. Furthermore, the Afghanistan Security Watch report stated, “Of the anti-Taliban attacks, 12 were claimed solely by the National Resistance Front and one by the Freedom Front, without independent verification; whereas, the remaining incidents were either documented or confirmed by various sources.”

The organization noted that among the unknown attacks, one involved a drone strike targeting Haroon Zarar Gandapur, a commander of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), in Gomal, Paktika, and another targeted Abdul Manan Elias, known as Hakimullah, a TTP member, in Asadabad, Kunar. No group has claimed responsibility for these particular incidents.

Additionally, the report documented that the attacks last month occurred in 10 provinces, with the highest number in Kabul (17), followed by Herat (5), Baghlan (2), Kunar (2), Farah (2), and one incident each in Nuristan, Paktika, Parwan, Panjshir, and Takhar.
