Previous reports had indicated that those who were gunned down by unknown shooters were engineers of the Qosh Tepa canal project. A source from the National Development Company also confirmed the deaths of these two employees, refuting earlier reports that claimed the victims were engineers from the company.
The identities of the victims have yet to be determined, but the “Ridi Gul” company, alongside other contractors, was engaged in excavation work on parts of the Qosh Tepa canal.
