RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front has claimed responsibility for a tactical attack on a Taliban checkpoint in Kabul, resulting in the death of a Taliban commander named Fazaluddin Osmani. According to a statement released by the Freedom Front on the social media platform X, the attack occurred on the evening of Tuesday, May 28th, in the Karte Naw area of Kabul’s eighth security district.

The Freedom Front asserts that three other Taliban members were injured in the attack. However, the Taliban have yet to comment on the death of their commander or the incident. A few days earlier, the Freedom Front issued a statement claiming that two Taliban members were killed and another injured in an attack by its forces in the Siah Sang Karte Naw area of Kabul.

According to the statement from this anti-Taliban group, the attack targeted personnel from the Taliban’s Defense Ministry Intelligence Directorate. In addition to the Freedom Front, the National Resistance Front also periodically reports attacks on Taliban positions and members in various provinces across the country.
