Freedom Front Claims Killing of a Taliban Member in Nijrab, Kapisa Province

RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front announced that its forces recently attacked Taliban members in Nijrab District, Kapisa Province. According to a statement released by the Freedom Front, this attack occurred on the afternoon of Friday, May 24th, targeting a Taliban Ranger vehicle in the village of Badakhshi on the outskirts of Nijrab.

 

The statement from the Freedom Front claims that the attack resulted in the death of one Taliban member and the injury of another. The statement also mentions that the Taliban Ranger vehicle was damaged in the incident. Local sources from Nijrab District in Kapisa Province report that the attack injured two Taliban members and two civilians.

 

The Taliban have not yet commented on the attack by the Freedom Front. This incident follows previous reports from the Freedom Front about attacks on Taliban members and positions in various provinces. Recently, Freedom Front forces also attacked a Taliban checkpoint in the village of Shekhano, Nijrab District, resulting in the death of a Taliban member.
