RASC News Agency: The Society of (Qalam) Pen Road reports that Matiullah Wisa, the founder of this society, has been released from the Taliban custody.

Marezieh Hafizi, a member of the Society of (Qlam) Pen Road, confirmed the release of Matiullah Wisa from Taliban captivity in her statement to the media on Thursday, October 26th.

In a post on social media, the Society of Pen Road wrote that the Taliban group has released Mr. Wisa after detaining him for 215 days.

According to information from the Taliban group, Matiullah Wisa was arrested on March 28th this year in Kabul on charges of independent activities, and they claimed that Mr. Wisa was engaged in anti-system activities of the Taliban group.

Based on Matiullah Wisa’s information, after restrictions were imposed on the education of girls above the sixth grade by the Taliban group, he had created opportunities for girls’ education by launching campaigns.

So far, the Taliban group has not expressed any opinion regarding the release of Mr. Wisa from their prisons.

It is worth mentioning that since their control over the country, the Taliban group has carried out numerous arrests of human rights activists, civil activists, and educated individuals.

It is worth noting that the arrest of Mr. Wisa has drawn widespread reactions from legal institutions, and many countries around the world have repeatedly called on the Taliban group to release Mr. Wisa.

Furthermore, it should be mentioned that since their reign over the country, the Taliban group has imposed significant restrictions on the lives of Afghanistani women and have been accused of widespread violation of women’s rights in various cases.
