RASC News Agency: Local Taliban authorities in Samangan province report that a traffic accident in Hazrat Sultan district has resulted in nine casualties. Hamidullah Osmani, the director of the local hospital in Samangan, informed the media that the incident occurred on the evening of Thursday, May 16th, in the Ghazni Gag area of Hazrat Sultan district.

The accident involved a collision between a Toyota Corolla and a cargo truck. Hospital officials confirmed that two children and one man lost their lives, while another child and two men sustained injuries. Hamidi, the hospital director, assured that the injured individuals are in stable condition and not in critical danger.

Taliban traffic authorities have not commented on the incident. Previously, Taliban’s general traffic authorities stated that such accidents often result from driver negligence, failure to adhere to traffic regulations, poor road conditions, and the lack of traffic signs on many roads.
