National Resistance Front Claims Killing Three Taliban Members in Herat Province

RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front has announced that as a result of two separate attacks by its forces in Herat Province, three Taliban members have been killed, and another has been injured. In a press release issued by the National Resistance Front, it is stated that as a result of a guerrilla attack by its forces at nine o’clock on Sunday morning, May 12th, one Taliban member was killed in the Chilore area of the Tolak district of Herat Province.

 

According to this press release, another attack, last night, May 12th, targeted a Taliban inspection site in the 11th district of Herat city, resulting in the deaths of two members of this group and the injury of another. The National Resistance Front reports that among the casualties is an individual named Mullah Noorullah, a resident of Ghor Province.

 

So far, the Taliban have not commented on these attacks by the National Resistance Front on their members in Herat Province. The attacks by the forces of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan against the Taliban in various provinces of the country have recently escalated.

 

In one instance, this front claimed last night, May 12th, that as a result of two separate operations by its forces against Taliban members in Kabul, three members of this group were killed.
