RASC News Agency: Local sources in Jowzjan province confirm unidentified gunmen shot and killed two Taliban members in the area. Sources informed the media on Friday, May 10, that the incident took place last night in the Sakhiabad area of Sheberghan city, in close proximity to the Taliban’s intelligence headquarters.

According to the sources, the slain Taliban members were identified as Mullah Ziauddin and Qari Mahmood. The Taliban have confirmed the occurrence of the incident and the deaths of their members. The motivation for the killings remains unknown, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack as of yet.

Similar incidents have occurred in various provinces across the country, with unidentified gunmen targeting Taliban members. Last month, in a separate incident, unidentified gunmen killed two Taliban members in the Qaysar district of Faryab province.
