RASC News Agency: Local sources in Balkh province in northern Afghanistan confirm that the Taliban group has arrested a young girl from Mazar-e Sharif, the center of this province, for not wearing a veil.

Based on information from sources; This young lady’s name is Elaha Shahrokhi, and she was working in a sewing workshop in the commercial center (Khadijah Kobra) and was identified and arrested by the Taliban while going home.

 

According to the sources, this young girl was arrested on (Wednesday, September 6) for not observing the cover required by the Taliban group and was interrogated.

 

The sources emphasized that the goddess is a resident of Khalid bin Walid township in the sixth district of Mazar-Sharif city, the center of Balkh province, and she is still  in the prison of the Taliban group.

 

The Taliban group has not said anything about this yet, but according to the sources of the girl’s family, they have not been able to free her from the Taliban group.

After the Taliban rule in Afghanistan, in addition to other restrictions and prohibitions, Women have been forced to walk outside the house with a mask, Hijab, and Muharram.

 

Before this, the Taliban group had warned those who disregarded the cover favored by the Taliban that if they disobeyed, they would be identified and arrested.

This group always established checkpoints on a number of public roads in Mazar-Sharif, the center of Balkh province, and harassed women and girls who were careless about their clothing under their supervision.
