RASC News Agency: The Freedom Front of Afghanistan announced that its forces recently launched an attack on Taliban members in Kabul. According to a statement released by the Freedom Front, the attack took place on the evening of Friday, April 26, targeting a Taliban checkpoint in the Qala-e-Najjarha area of Khair Khana, located in the 11th district of Kabul.

The Freedom Front’s statement noted that the attack resulted in the deaths of three Taliban members, one injury, and the destruction of two Taliban military vehicles. According to the Freedom Front, the targeted Taliban checkpoint was newly established, and its stationed members were responsible for conducting searches, detentions, harassment, and imprisoning young people, particularly residents of northern Kabul and Panjshir.

The Taliban have yet to comment on this attack by the Freedom Front. Since the Taliban took control of the country, opposition groups, particularly the Freedom Front and the National Resistance Front, have increased attacks on Taliban positions and members across various provinces.

Previously, the National Resistance Front announced that one Taliban member was killed and two others were injured in an attack by its forces in the 15th district of Kabul.
