RASC News Agency: Local sources have informed the media that, following the overturning of a passenger bus on the Herat-Badghis highway, 25 individuals, including one child, have been either killed or injured. Today, Tuesday, Apr 16, local Taliban officials disclosed to the media that the incident took place on the Herat-Badghis highway, resulting in the death of one child and injuries to 24 others, including women and elderly individuals.

The security command of the Taliban police in Badghis mentioned that the passengers on the bus were residents of Badghis province traveling from Herat towards Qala-e-Naw, the capital of Badghis province. Taliban officials in Badghis province added that a technical problem with the bus caused this incident.

In recent days, there has been an increase in reports of traffic incidents in the country. Previously, the General Directorate of Traffic in the country had reported that, as a result of 102 traffic incidents during the six days of Eid al-Fitr, 50 individuals were killed, and 185 others were injured.
