RASC News Agency: The Taliban Ministry of Justice has announced the dissolution of two political parties and 75 cultural-social associations registered with this ministry, referring them to the intelligence-security entities of the group. In a newsletter released on Sunday, Apr 8, the Taliban Ministry of Justice declared the activities of these entities dissolved and unlawful.

According to the newsletter, during the year 1402, the Taliban group reviewed the activities of parties and associations registered with this ministry. The Taliban Ministry of Justice did not mention the names of these two political parties and cultural-social associations referred to intelligence-security entities and declared their activities illegal.

Based on the contents of this newsletter, not only were parties and associations reviewed by the Taliban group last solar year, but also licenses for the activities of 19 foundations and charitable institutions in the country were not renewed. The Taliban Minister of Justice had previously stated that naming illegal parties is punishable, and the activities and formations of political party leadership have been revoked from the framework of this ministry.

Following the expulsion of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar from the residence provided by Ashraf Ghani, the Taliban’s relations with the Islamic Party led by Gulbuddin Hekmatyar have darkened.
