RASC News Agency: Sources have informed the media that Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban group, has been relocated from his main residence to the “Panjawaei” district due to fears of surveillance by unmanned aerial vehicles in the skies of Kandahar.

On Wednesday, Apr 3, sources confirmed to the media that the leader of this group has been transferred to a military camp affiliated with the 205th Corps in Kandahar, fearing being targeted by unmanned aerial drones operated by US forces.

According to information provided by security sources, the responsibility for Mullah Hibatullah’s security has been entrusted to Abdul Ahad Taleb, the governor of this group in Helmand, and members of the HIBATI section have also been relocated to various areas of this province. The relocation of Mullah Hibatullah, the leader of this group, comes as surveillance by unmanned aerial vehicles in the country’s skies has increased.

Previously, Jan Achakzai, the Minister of Information and Culture of Balochistan Province, Pakistan, claimed that the Taliban group had handed over an airfield for unmanned aircraft in Kandahar to the United States under an agreement. The Taliban group has not officially commented on this matter.

In recent days, surveillance by unmanned aerial vehicles in the skies of Badakhshan, Kapisa, and Kunar has also been noticeable.
