RASC News Agency: Officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran have announced that six Afghanistani workers were injured in a fire at a recycling factory in Shiraz province. Hadi Eidi Pour, the head of the Shiraz Province Fire Department, informed Iranian media that the incident occurred on Sunday morning, Mar 31, at a recycling factory.

Local Iranian authorities have added that the fire at the factory has been contained, and the injured workers have been transferred to the hospital. Although firefighting officials described the injuries of the workers as superficial, hospital authorities have not provided updates on their condition. Eidi Pour did not specify the cause of the fire at the Shiraz recycling factory.

Recent developments in the country, coupled with the Taliban’s control, have driven millions of Afghanistanis to neighboring countries like Iran and Pakistan for various reasons, including security, poverty, and unemployment. There, they endure harsh and challenging conditions, working for minimal wages without job or health insurance.
