RASC News Agency: Local Taliban authorities in Ghazni have announced that three individuals have been detained in the center of the province on charges of “breaking the fast.” According to a statement released by the Taliban’s Moral Police in Ghazni on Sunday Mar 31, these individuals were apprehended by the enforcers of this authority.

The statement mentioned that these individuals have been referred by the enforcers to the judicial and legal institutions of the group. Earlier last week, the Taliban group also detained three individuals on charges of breaking the fast in the Qarabaghi area, the center of Ghazni province.

Sources at that time informed the media that one of the detained individuals by the Taliban group was obliged to break his fast based on a physician’s recommendation.

Following the resurgence of the Taliban group in the country, every year during the month of Ramadan, several citizens in various provinces of the country are detained and imprisoned by this group on charges of breaking the fast.
