RASC: Local sources report an explosion in Faizabad, the center of Badakhshan province.
According to the sources, the explosion occurred around 8 am on Tuesday near the court of Badakhshan province.
The head of information and culture of the Taliban in Badakhshan confirmed the explosion, said that the explosion on Tuesday morning was caused by a “car bomb”, and caused casualties.
According to him, the target of this attack was the car carrying Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi, deputy and acting governor of the Taliban in Badakhshan.
This Taliban officials did not give details about the casualties.
