RASC News Agency: In the wake of the devastating floods in multiple provinces across the country, residents of Faryab and Sar-e Pol provinces have reported significant damage caused by these floods, asserting that thus far, the Taliban has failed to provide any financial assistance or equipment.

Local sources informed the media today, Thursday, Mar 28, that recent floods in Faryab and Sar-e Pol provinces have ravaged residential homes and farmlands, resulting in the loss of dozens of livestock. Media outlets have documented reports of casualties, both in terms of lives and property, being conveyed to the local authorities of Faryab, Farah, Sar-e Pol, and Badghis provinces.

Local sources have indicated that despite the casualties and financial losses endured by the residents and farmers of these provinces, the Taliban has displayed no concern. Thus far, precise casualty figures have not been disseminated to the media, and the Taliban has refrained from commenting on the matter.

It is noteworthy that the Taliban’s meteorological department, through a released video clip, has cautioned about the possibility of significant snowfall and rain showers in various regions, encompassing western, northern, northwestern, northeastern, eastern, and central areas, including valleys.
