The Afghanistan National Futsal Team clinches a thrilling victory against Australia, triumphing five to four

RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan National Futsal Team clinched victory against the Australian National Futsal Team in its second match of the international quadrangular competitions. The clash between the two teams took place on Monday, Mar 25, in Thailand, culminating in a 5-4 triumph for the Afghanistani players.

In the initial half of the match, Afghan players successfully scored four goals, breaching the opponent’s defense, while the Australian players managed to equalize with just one goal. Contributions to the Afghanistan team’s goals came from Omid Qanbari, Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini, Akbar Kazemi, and Mehran Gholami.

As the match progressed into the second half, the national players exhibited a weaker performance, conceding three goals and resulting in a 4-4 draw. In the final moments of the game, the national players seized an opportunity, securing victory with a score of 5-4 in their favor.

Afghanistan is poised to face Thailand in the final match of the group stage of these competitions on Wednesday of the current week.
