Taliban Militants Slaughter Lieutenant Tawoos

RASC News Agency: Taliban militants perpetrated a brutal murder of a former regime Lieutenant in Logar province, employing a knife in the act. Sources revealed to the media on Sunday, March 24th, that the former regime official met his demise two days prior in the Mohammad Agha district of Logar province while attending to his farm.

According to the sources, Taliban fighters initially subjected him to humiliation and insult before ultimately ending his life with a fatal stabbing. Notably, the Taliban group has yet to address Mr. Tawoos killing in the media, an uncommon move for the group. Reports indicate that Mr. Tawoos held a position in the Ministry of Defense of the former regime, overseeing technological and logistical operations before the Taliban’s ascension to power.

It is noteworthy that despite the Taliban leader’s proclamation of a general amnesty following the group’s assumption of power, the group has detained and executed former officials on various charges during their two-year reign. This includes the recent targeted assassination of a former member of the Republic’s Special Forces in the “Totomdara” area of Parwan province.
